Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actress from Germany and Romania. Her most well-known movies include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her showbiz career in the early years of her life. At the age of 16, she reached the age of sixteen, she had secured leading roles in several shows on television. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall the role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also critically acclaimed. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning diva. Alexandra's career has seen her be involved in a variety of notable international and national projects. One of these is the British biographical film Control, the Greek movie The Dust of Time, and French historical miniseries Napoleon. She was also on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
