Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film best known for her performances in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. The only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. Alexandra started her career in show business at an early age. At the age of 16, she was 16years old, Alexandra was able to land prominent roles in a variety of television dramas. Her critically acclaimed role in the film made for television Der Tunnel paved way for more notable roles like the role of the secretary of Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge from the commercially and critically successful Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The Reader is another Oscar nominated movie featuring this actress. Alexandra's career has seen her participate in several notable international and national projects. These include British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and French historical miniseries Napoleon among others. The actress also served on the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
