Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin is a Lebanese-British barrister human rights activist, philanthropist and human rights advocate. The graduate of Oxford University School of Law in addition to New York University School of Law is recognized internationally in her professional career and for her achievements in the areas of International human rights laws. The most notable clients she has worked with are many nations, like Armenia which is seeking to force to get the Turkish government to acknowledge Armenia's rights and recognize the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got engaged to American actor George Clooney to marry him in 2014. The couple instantly became a household-name in popular culture. Prior to this, she was already famous and loved in the legal world as a lawyer who consistently represents her clients with skill and success. She has tackled human and civil rights, to representing several multi-national corporations in court proceedings and negotiations concerning government regulations. From 2015 onwards she served as a barrister at British courts in Doughty Street Chambers.
